Terms of Service — Drivers

TankerGo Terms of Service — Drivers

For TankerGo Driver. Last updated: [date of publishing].

These terms apply when you use the TankerGo Driver app, run by [Company legal name], [Registered address] (“TankerGo”). By linking your account you accept them.

1. Relationship

You drive for a fleet owner who has added you to TankerGo. Your working relationship, pay arrangement and vehicle are with that fleet owner. TankerGo provides the app that brings you jobs, tracks them and settles money; it is not your employer.

2. Joining

  • Your fleet owner gives you an invite code. Enter it in the app to link your account, then wait for their approval.
  • Keep a valid driving licence at all times. Upload your licence and identity document when asked; police verification is optional but may speed up approval.
  • Keep your details and documents accurate and up to date.

3. Going on duty and location

  • Jobs are only offered while you are online. While online, the app shares your live location with TankerGo; it is also shown to your fleet owner and, during a job, to that customer.
  • Go offline when you stop working. Location sharing stops when you go offline.
  • Only drive vehicles your fleet owner has cleared you for. You receive only the jobs your current vehicle can do; switch vehicles in the app between jobs, not during one.

4. Job offers

  • An offer rings for up to 2 minutes. Accepting is your choice; the first driver to accept gets the job.
  • Once you accept, you are expected to complete the job. Do not accept jobs you cannot reach.

5. Doing the job

  • Drive safely and legally, follow traffic rules, and never drive under the influence.
  • Deliver the size, type and quantity of water ordered, or carry out the sewer work ordered. Check the floor, tank count and access photo on the job card before you arrive.
  • Take the before and after proof photos when asked.
  • Ask the customer for their delivery code only when the job is complete. Never complete a job without it.
  • Treat customers with respect. Use their phone number and address only for that job.

6. Cash and your wallet

  • On cash on delivery jobs, collect exactly the amount shown in the app. You keep your share; the rest is money you owe, and your wallet balance goes down.
  • If the cash you hold passes the limit shown in the app, you will not be able to go on duty until you settle the amount due.
  • On online-paid jobs, your share is added to your wallet. You can withdraw a positive balance to a bank account or UPI ID in your name, above the minimum shown in the app.

7. Ratings and conduct

Customers can rate you, and you can rate customers. Repeated low ratings, complaints, unsafe driving, fraud or misuse of customer data can lead to your account being paused or removed by your fleet owner or by TankerGo.

8. Leaving

You can delete your account from Profile → Delete my account once you hold no cash from cash-on-delivery jobs and no job is in progress.

9. Liability

You are responsible for your own driving and conduct. To the extent the law allows, TankerGo is not liable for losses arising from them, or for indirect losses.

10. Changes, law and disputes

We may update these terms and will tell you in the app. These terms are governed by the laws of India, and courts at [City] have jurisdiction.

11. Contact

  • Support: [support phone], or Help in the app.
  • Grievance Officer: [Grievance Officer name], [grievance@tankergo.com], [Registered address].
